The classic way of eyelash extensions (one full volume) is when one artificial eyelash is glued to each natural eyelash. This method of extension repeats the natural growth of eyelashes, and the number of extended eyelashes corresponds to natural ones.

How long do lash extensions last?

In our LuxSoma Med Spa eyelash extensions performed by professional Eyelash Artist with high-quality materials. With appropriate care last an average of 4 weeks. Everything is individual here: the fatter the skin type, the faster the correction procedure will be required.

Hybrid Eyelash Extensions

Hybrid extension combines two types of eyelashes: “This is the minimalism of a classic eyelash extension, when one artificial eyelash is applied to natural eyelashes, and a volumetric bundle.”

This is the golden mean between dramatic effect and naturalness. Adding bunches of multiple lashes to the corners and lash extensions in the middle of the eyelid makes the look more expressive, but not defiant. These eyelashes last from two to three weeks.

Aftercare:

Our Eyelash Artist does not recommend the use of mascara and warns that after a shower, the eyelashes must be thoroughly dried. Makeup remover should be gentle enough to completely remove makeup without damaging your lashes.

Dermaplaning is an age-old skin resurfacing technique, which originated as a trade secret in the modeling industry. When you receive this treatment, a 10-gauge micro-blade (called a dermatome) is used to remove unwanted peach fuzz and dead skin cells to reveal the dewy, luminous skin beneath. Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation technique that yields a dramatic result.

We begin by gently cleansing and scrubbing the face to remove excess debris. A sterile dermatome is then used to remove the top layer of skin in a gentle sweeping motion. This procedure provides you with an instant improvement in the quality of your skin.

Patients can see immediate results from dermaplaning treatments. Facial peach fuzz will be gone and overall complexion will appear smoother and more radiant. Results from dermaplaning can last up to 2-weeks or more. Dermaplaning is recommended in monthly intervals. There is no post-treatment care with dermaplaning.

Your facial hair will not grow back thicker following a dermaplaning treatment. Vellus facial hair (peach fuzz) is not the same as terminal hair (the type of hair found on other areas of the body).  Terminal hair is coarse and designed to regulate temperature, and will grow back coarser when cut. Vellus hair is fine and translucent, and when cut, maintains a blunt edge and grows back unaltered.

– If your appointment is booked during an outbreak of cold sores on your lips the procedure may not be done. Please be aware that if you ever had a cold sore outbreak, you may experience another outbreak following this procedure. It is highly recommended to start taking anti-viral medication such as Zivorax/Valtrex . Please consult your doctor regarding prescription, dosage and length of the treatment prior your appointment

– DO NOT get lip injections 4 weeks before and after lip blush procedure.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING:

– Lash serums may cause sensitivity to your lash line. We recommend discontinuing use of lash serum 4 weeks prior appointment.
– You MUST REMOVE all lash extensions prior to this procedure
– Contact lenses MUST BE REMOVED for the time of the procedure
– If you have an eye infection or stye on the procedure date you cannot have this treatment done.

What are Powder Brows (Microshading)?
